Canberra Coffee and Lies
Coffee & Lies deja vu! We are back at On Lake Cafe for more!
Coffee & Lies, as most will know, is the place to be on the first Saturday of any month. It’s where you get to catch up with regular Club members, welcome new members and generally just fill the time with … well, coffee and lies.
We will hold Coffee & Lies at On Lake Café, Bowen Park in Barton (off Bowen Drive).
Now that the ACT Government has relaxed Covid-19 restrictions and we are permitted to have up to 100 people in a public gathering with one person per 4 square metres, we don’t see the need to have two sessions for this event, as was the case in September.
Please attend anytime between 10.00am and 2.00pm for coffee, snacks and/or lunch.
There is no requirement for members to register for this event.
However, please do not attend if you have recently visited Victoria or COVID- affected areas of NSW, or have been in close physical contact with persons from those locations. (See https://www.covid19.act.gov.au/community/travel for further information.)
This is an opportunity to meet and chat with other members of the Chapter in the pleasant surrounds of Bowen Park on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin. The current weather forecast for the day is: sunny and 24 degrees.
If possible, please bring a chair and table (foldable camp chairs and tables will fit in the boot of a MX5). There are limited chairs at this venue and we may be required to move a few metres away from the café to comply with the one person per 4 square metre rule.
