In case you didn't notice already, 2015 marks the 25th Anniversary of the MX-5 Club of NSW. Our first ever club run was held on Sunday 8th July 1990 and was dominated by a sea of NA MX-5s in Classic Red, a few Crystal White and a lonely Mariner Blue.

To mark the 25th anniversary of this run, we will attempt to replicate the route as closely as possible. We will have morning tea at Bulli Tops, lunch at Kiama, and say our goodbyes at Bald Hill. This is a run you should not miss!

Our route to Kiama ...

The original run started at the old F6 tollgates, which are long gone! Remember the old 60c toll? Instead, we will start at Waterfall Station carpark. After a short run down the Princes Highway to Bulli Tops, we will stop for coffee and morning tea at the Gelato Emporium and take in the amazing views of the Illawarra. At about 11am, we descend the escarpment via Mt Keira Road before taking the freeway south to Kiama. We will base ourselves at Coronation Park overlooking Surf Beach. Do your own thing for lunch at one of the countless great cafes in Kiama, or pack a picnic for lunch in the park. Then walk it off with a stroll to the blowhole, or explore the shops of Terralong Street. We meet back at the carpark for a 2pm departure.

... join us for the trip home

Departing from Coronation Park, Kiama at 2:00pm, we will climb Saddleback Mountain for a group photo at the lookout. Then savour the twisty descent to Jamberoo and the dairy country to Albion Park. A quick run up the Freeway and Northern Distributor will take us to the coastal hamlets of Austinmer, Scarborough, etc. and the spectacular Sea Cliff Bridge. We'll then stop at Bald Hill Headland Reserve to say our goodbyes. The final leg will be through the Royal National Park to Waterfall.
