4 Day Meander Morpeth, Gloucester, Forster and Port Stephens
On Saturday 28th October we will leave McDonalds at McGraths Hill and travel to Wisemans Ferry to meet up with any further members wishing to join us on this trip. There are toilet and parking facilities at both meet locations.
The following is a brief outline of what we will be doing over the 4 days.
Day 1 - Wisemans Ferry to Wollombi
Proposed that we have lunch at Wollombi.
We will then travel to Morpeth and then on to Maitland
(We may decide to see Morpeth on the Sunday.) All dependant on time.
Day 2 - Tour of Maitland Jail and then we will travel on to Gloucester
Day 3 - At 10am we have a planned tour of a Gold Mine at Gloucester
We will then travel to Nabiac where we plan to visit to the Nabiac Motorcycle Museum
We will then leave for Forster
Day 4 - Forster – Whale watching/ dolphin cruise.
Forster to Church st Nelson Bay
Final Day at Nelsons Bay where there are many interesting things to do.
Members are also welcome to attend for just the day trip to Wollombi for lunch or for as much or little of the trip as would suit you. We will never get more than 300km from home.
