Canberra Coffee and Lies
We are moving to Weston Park!
Feedback from members at the last event indicated a concern about the lack of parking at Bowen Park. There is more parking at Weston Park so we’ll give it a try.
Coffee & Lies, as most will know, is the place to be on the first Saturday of any month. It’s where you get to catch up with regular Club members, welcome new members and generally just fill the time with … well, coffee and lies.
We will hold Coffee & Lies at Weston Park, Yarralumla, near the carpark at Pescott Lane. The café at the Play Station serves coffee and snacks or BYO.
Now that the ACT Government has relaxed Covid-19 restrictions, we are permitted to have up to 200 people in a public gathering with one person per 2 square metres for an outdoor event.
Please attend anytime between 10.00am and 12.00pm for coffee, snacks and/or lunch.
There is no requirement for members to register for this event.
However, please do not attend if you have recently visited Victoria or COVID- affected areas of NSW, or have been in close physical contact with persons from those locations. (See https://www.covid19.act.gov.au/community/travel for further information.)
This is an opportunity to meet and chat with other members of the Chapter in the pleasant surrounds of Weston Park on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin.
If possible, please bring a chair and table (foldable camp chairs and tables will fit in the boot of a MX5). There are limited tables and chairs at Weston Park.
