Update 6/06/2020: This event is now open for entries!

Although things are gradually getting back to some resemblance of normal, we still need to run this event with careful social distancing rules and group size management. Everyone knows about the 1.5m rule. The other rule entrants need to keep in mind is the 10 person group rule – only 10 people are allowed in a 40m2 area. With this in mind, we are running this event as two half-day 20 person mini-events. Each 20 person group is divided into 10 person groups – one at either end of the skidpan.

The exact arrangements will be communicated later, but please read the COVID-19 plan attached to the event page below. This will give you a head start in how to approach this event. Please read the Supplementary Regulations too – they have changed for this event.

Briefing notes will be sent out to all entrants as there are a number of special arrangements for this event.

There will be no L1 come and try licences available for this event. You will need a Motorsport Australia L2S or L2NS licence or better. There will be no passengers allowed (except for juniors). The event is limited to competitors + 1 pit crew each (who must be nominated ahead of time). Sorry, but we can't have spectators at this event.

Passengers are not permitted at this event - not even for juniors.

Entry is via the Motorsport Australia event entry system. Note that the web page for this has recently been updated, so it will be new to you. If you haven't already, you will have to re-authenticate before you will be able to login, but your old password will still work.

This motorkhana day is intended to cater for drivers who are inexperienced in car control and to provide them with a fun set of motorkhana style challenges to test and develop their skills, as well as offering some tricky bits for more experienced drivers. It is the second event of three comprising the club motorkhana championship series in 2020.

The motorkhana is being held at the Sydney Motorsport Park skidpan. This is a large flat concrete area which provides plenty of space for any mistakes, and the surface will be watered through the day to provide a low grip surface and so minimise wear and tear on cars and tyres.
