The Hill End HillBilly Run is back!

After last year’s Hill End run was aborted due to a bushfire in the area, we’re gunna try it again, Friday 15th March through to Monday 18th March 2024.
Friday will see us on a drive to Bathurst for lunch after meeting up at Batemans Bay or Goulburn. Then to Hill End to our lodgings at the The Lodge Motel (cabins, $130 per night including a light breakfast and entertainment from the resident poultry and other wildlife!). Saturday involves checking out Hill End followed by a short drive to Sofala for lunch.
Sunday; we do Mudgee, or more precisely, a pizza/wine/music afternoon at Burnbrae Wines (pizzas or antipasto plates). Accommodation is booked at the Vineyard Motel on Mudgee’s outskirts, $150 per room.
Monday gets us on the road home, down the Castlereagh Highway to Ilford and then Bathurst. An alternative route is via Lithgow/Penrith/Campbelltown and then down the coast.
This run is graded as Hard, approx 400k on Friday and 460k on Monday and includes secondary roads through mountainous countryside.
For logistical reasons/accommodation limits, numbers will be limited.
There is no need to contact either of the accommodation venues, we will confirm bookings at a later stage once people have indicated their interest to us.
