Laggan Lunch
Laggan. Blink and you've missed it.
Which would be a pity, because you could have missed 'a great country pub with lots of local colour'.
Last year 25 MX-5ers enjoyed a great run out to Laggan and a surprisingly fancy lunch. We all had such a good day that we’re doing it all over again.
One Sydney-sider has described the place as a 'beautiful country pub'. Further, said the happy visitor 'Just a short drive from Crookwell you must visit the Laggan Pub. Staff and locals friendly with icy cold beer and beautiful food. Great for a weekend drive'.
We'll visit mid-week and see for ourselves. The meals look most promising ('a range of dishes to suit every diner; from fresh, uncomplicated food and hearty meals to a fine dining experience' - check out the menu at the website http://lagganpub.com.au) and the atmosphere will be inviting and (dare I say it) unique.
This run will be a lot of fun, so join Ron and Maree for a cruise among the wind turbines to bucolic Laggan for a great day out.
