Day 1 - Saturday 20 October 2018

After our meet at Haywards Bay, we will climb Macquarie Pass and take the scenic route to Marulan via Wildes Meadow, Fitzroy Falls, and Bundanoon along the Highland Way. Our morning tea stop will be at Meridian Café, Marulan.

Departing Marulan at 11:00am, we will take the back roads to Goulburn via Bungonia. Our destination is the Goulburn Water Historic Works where we will visit the ...

Steampunk Victoriana Fair

It's a chance to travel through time as it never was before. The Goulburn Historic Waterworks will host its annual Steampunk Victoriana Fair. The retro-futuristic fair will have clothing, art and music on offer, and a chance to dress up in the genre that melds the classical Victorian era with industrial progress (and all things powered by steam).

Steampunk Victoriana Fair

The Steampunk Victoriana Fair will see an influx of characters wandering the grounds - complementing the Goulburn Historic Waterworks architecture and aesthetic - where tours will be conducted on the building and the engines it houses.

Steampunk mixes the industrial age with futuristic imaginations or how the future might have been imagined in the past. So, come along to revel in the unique facility and its history, and envisage the old-world technology put to use in the future at the Steampunk and Victoriana Fair.

Entry: $15 at the gate OR $11 if you book online prior to the event

Park & ride from Council Car Park, Clifford St, by donation.

Lunch and afternoon tea will be at the fair – free time to wander the fair. Meet back at the car park by 2:45pm for a 3:00pm departure.
