Kicking this one off early is key because as the name would sugest the MX500 is one of our longest one day events. If you do decide to challenge yourself for a days driving you will be rewarded with a smorgas board of driving terain, including beautiful old country towns, rain forest twists and turns, open stretches of grass covered coutryside and all of it without spending that much time on boring straight highways.

The driving won't be the only smorgas board on offer on the day. As this is our "All Day" event, we will be stopping for Breakfast and Lunch plus as always, starting with one of the Archer's finest coffees.

Mittagong is where this will all start before we head down through an MX5 favorite the Kangaroo Valley making our way to Tomerong and taking Braidwood Rd through Tomboye to, you guessed it Braidwood for breakfast. We will be eating at The Albion Cafe where I'm sure you you find something to treat your tast buds.

After we fill our belly's , and tanks if needed we will be back on the road for the second leg. This will take us through some wonderful open countryside to the town of Bungendore. If we don't re-fuel at Braidwood Bungendore will offer another opportunity. The route will then take us ZOOMING through the sleepy little town of Gunning the once home of the Gunning Classic trout fishing comp a childhood memory of mine. A drink and loo break will be taken at the frosty town of Crookwel then it's back down to Gouldburn from where we start our final leg up to Bundanoon for lunch. There won't be a booking at Bundanoon for lunch, we will jsy work that one out on the day depending on how we all feel.

And that's it folks 500 on the dot according to my Google maps, I guess it was meant to be.

See you there.
