Continuing in the tradition of holding Notmeet at Easter in the non-Natmeet years, 2015 sees us heading to the Celtic Country of Glen Innes in the NSW New England Highlands.

Spend the long weekend cruising some of the great roads of the New England with some of our counterparts from the MX-5 Club of Queensland. There are lots of man-made and natural attractions in the region to ensure you have a great time.

The run will officially kick off from Beresfield BP Service Centre, John Renshaw Drive (Corner of Kinta Drive) at 10:00am on Good Friday. The late start is to allow time for participants from Sydney, Wollongong, etc. to make it up to Newcastle.

Our accommodation in Glen Innes is at the New England Motor Lodge. The package price includes accommodation and dinner each night (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), and a breakfast each morning (Saturday, Sunday and Monday).

Our trip to Glen Innes will take us via Dungog, Gloucester, Walcha and Armidale. Mid North Coast members can join in at Gloucester or Walcha for the rest of the trip (or meet us in Glen Innes).

Saturday offers a choice of two runs. Option A is a leisurely cruise taking in the sights of Glen Innes, Emmaville, Deepwater and Ben Lomond (approximately 230km). Option B is a more spirited drive via Grafton and the famous Nymboida Corkscrew and heading to Dorrigo for lunch, returning via Guyra (approximately 460km).

Sunday sees a pleasant drive to Inverell to check out the National Transport Museum. We then head to picturesque Bingara for lunch and return via Copeton Dam.

On Monday we return basically by the New England Highway with the potential for a couple of deviations for those that are interested.

Bookings are now closed. We still have room for three more people if anybody wishes to submit a late entry.

There was no NatMeet in 1998 as it was going to be in WA but then cancelled. The next NatMeet was 1999 in Queensland, followed by 2000 in Victoria. Hence NotMeet was not held between 1997 and 2001.
