Page Community Christmas BBQ Show ‘n’ Shine
Do you need a reason to polish your car?
The Page Shopping Centre is one of those lovely little spots that are dotted around Canberra, filled with nice people running suburban shopping experiences. The folks at Page have built a little community, and regularly hold BBQs with stalls, exhibits and importantly a Show 'n' Shine. They are only small events, but they are friendly and fun.
The organisers have invited us to exhibit our cars at the next event, the Page Community Christmas BBQ. As well as the Show 'n' Shine (featuring us and other car clubs), there will be a free BBQ, stalls, mega meat raffle, a happy hour from my mates at the Page Bottler (Canberra's friendliest craft beer oasis) and a visit from Santa!
This is a great, informal, opportunity to show off our cars and to talk to folks about why they are such fun, and consistently rated as one of the best, and most affordable sports cars in the world.
The Show 'n' Shine runs from noon to 3.00pm. We need to be there a little earlier to secure a good spot for our cars, hence the 11.45am start. The organisers say there is room for more than a dozen of us, so it would be great of we could get a few of each series along. Come on and join us. It will be fun!
