Club Track Day at SMP Amaroo - Round 7

A sunny and warm Autumn day greeted 63 enthusiastic motorsport competitors for Round 7 of our Club Trackdays at Sydney Motorsport Park Amaroo Circuit (South Circuit). Welcome to all five of our nervous first timers. With only six run groups we managed to get seven sessions with some drivers getting 49 timed laps.
The competitive battle continues in most classes. Congratulations to four of our fastest ladies Aimee Kovacic, Gaynor Lawler, Kim Jacobs and Anna Fraser with some really close lap times between 1:09.32 to 1:09.87 respectively. A special mention to my son Luke Kovacic and daughter Aimee Kovacic on running my new 2012 Renault Clio RS. Just to note Luke did a faster lap time of 1:05.50 in our 2016 ND MX-5.
