Daylight Savings Social Runs

Each year during Daylight Savings, both the Sydney Chapter and BreakFast Club have been hosting twilight social events/runs.

These events have been running on alternative months during Summertime with the Sydney Chapter hosting Fish and Chips at Balmoral with a run to Terry Hills via McCarrs Creek and the BreakFast Club hosting a burger and run evening starting at the Famous Paul's Hamburgers at Sylvania with a run down to Stanwell Tops via the Royal National Park.

Last night it was the BF Club's month with a gathering of approx 10 members (with some new faces) for a great burger and a social chat. I (Adam W) am one of those people that will be late to my own funeral, it took a few phone calls from members to remind me that there was an event on that i organised. I turned up a hour late just as everyone was getting into their cars for the quick run. Everyone's (but myself) hungers were suitably satisfied, we joined up for a convoy run down the Princes Highway and down into Audley and onto Stanwell Tops.

We got into Stanwell Tops, the light was slowly disspearing for some great photo opportunities, but having left the camera at home in the rush that didnt eventuate this time. On the uphand everyone had a good laugh at my antics for the night before the brisk run back up to Sydney via the Royal National Park.

The next twilight event will be at Balmoral on the 25th March hosted by the Sydney Chapter.
