MX-5 Club Drift Day : Expressions of Interest Wanted

So far 22 club members have expressed their interest in this drift day, so it looks like we will be giving it a go. Thank you to to Dom Spoelder and Derek Mock for offering to help organising the event. 

The EOI is now closed, so keep watching the club website and weekly emails for updates. We will also email directly to those who responded to the EOI request.

I would like to organise a drift training day in 2016, but need to be sure enough people are interested before spending the club's money to book the venue and instructors.

The plan would be to use the skidpan at Sutton Road Driver Training Centre near Canberra, and to have 2 professional drift instructors available.

We would start at around 10am and finish by 4pm, allowing enough time in the day for those in Sydney to travel down and back on the day.

To maximise track day for each driver we would limit the event to 14 people.

It will cost around $170 for the day.

If enough people are interested, we would pick a date, preferably early in the year, which avoids other club track events and suits as many of the interested people as possible.

If we go ahead, I will need a volunteer to help with organising this event, and if the event is a success, we should try to organise more in 2016.
