Join us for a memorable 3-day adventure to Junee and Batlow! Enjoy a scenic road trip along winding backroads, for a trip packed with culture, nature and local delights!
Meeting place: Hungry Jacks, Haywards Bay
Meet time: 7:45am Depart 8:15am
Day 1:
- We'll set off for Goulburn, where we'll stop at Belmore Park for coffee or morning tea. You can either bring your own or grab something from one of the nearby cafes.
- Our next destination will be the Carrington Hotel in Harden for lunch.
- After lunch, we'll continue our journey to Junee, concluding the day with a delightful dinner at the Roundhouse Restaurant.
Day 2:
We'll spend the day exploring some of Junee's highlights:
- Licorice and Chocolate Factory - A sweet start to our journey!
- Classic Car Garage - A must-see for automotive enthusiasts.
- Roundhouse Railway Museum - Explore the rich history of Australian railways.
- Monte Cristo Haunted House - Step into the spooky legend of Australia’s most haunted mansion (pending estate settlement).
- Dinner at the Commercial Hotel - End the day with a delicious meal in a welcoming atmosphere.
Day 3:
- Apple Thief Cider House - We'll wrap up our adventure, where you can purchase freshly picked apples and sample delicious local ciders straight from the source.
Accommodation Options: We’ve reserved rooms at The Crossing Motel (located right beside the Roundhouse Restaurant).
