The first gathering of MX-5s in NSW was held at Vicary's Winery at Luddenham on Sunday 24 June 1990 where 104 members signed up as Foundation Members of the Mazda MX-5 Club of NSW. We’re wandering the country roads to Wee Jasper for some a visit to the Wee Jasper Distillery. It’s a good country trip through picturesque farmland and forest to Mountain Creek followed by some wonderfully friendly MX-5 roads. President's Picnic Canberra Run

The President’s Picnic is a great day where all the Club Chapters gather and there is a wide range of our favourite cars on display. Our chapter takes the opportunity to take a leisurely run up to Windsor the day before and stay overnight in Richmond. The next day is at a beautiful location on the river at one of Australia’s oldest churches.
