| Joint | You and your partner are the owner/driver of a Mazda MX-5 and share the same mailing address for the purpose of receiving Club correspondence. Joint members receive one printed copy of Club Torque magazine. | $115 | $90 |
| Associate | You do not own an MX-5 but you have a personal interest in the Mazda MX-5 and/or the Mazda MX-5 Club of NSW. | $90 | $65 |
| Joint Associate | You and your partner do not own an MX-5, but have a personal interest in the Mazda MX-5 and/or the Mazda MX-5 Club of NSW, and share the same mailing address for the purpose of receiving Club correspondence. Joint members receive one printed copy of Club Torque magazine. | $115 | $90 |
| Junior | You are under the age of 18 years and you have an interest in a Mazda MX-5 and/or the Mazda MX-5 Club of NSW. Junior members do not have voting rights and do not receive a printed copy of Club Torque magazine. | $20 | $20 |
The membership fee includes a $25 joining fee in addition to the annual fee. Junior members are exempted from the joining fee.
"Partner" is interpreted in the broadest sense and may also be a friend or sibling.
Owners of the imported Eunos Roadster are regarded as "MX-5 owners/drivers", and are eligible for Full or Joint membership.
Owners of the FIAT Abarth 124 Spider are very welcome to join as Associate Member or Joint Associate Member, but obviously must endure (good-natured) ribbing about why they didn't buy an ND MX-5 instead.
The membership fee covers a full year from the date of application. Renewals for those who joined the Club after 1st November 2009, are due on the anniversary date of becoming a member. Membership renewals for those who were financial members on or before 1st November 2009 are due on 1st November of each succeeding year.
