Bathurst 12 Hour Race Weekend
An opportunity exists to join other MX-5 enthusiasts for a exciting weekend of spectating at the Bathurst 12 Hour Production Car Race. Last year the Toyota 86 Club outnumbered us 4 to 1. This year let's show them which car is the true sportscar by registering your interest to this popular event ASAP.
Itinerary
Sat 8 Feb 2014
- 6:30am Meet at McDonalds Penrith Panthers Club Mulgoa Rd, Penrith
- 7:00am Sharp, Depart Panthers Club for Mt Panorama, Bathurst
- 9:15am Arrive at Mt Panorama, Bathurst
- 1:00pm Car Clubs Parade Lap
- 5:15pm Racing Concludes
- 7:00pm Meet at Kings on George Hotel for Bistro Dinner
Sun 9 Feb 2014
- 6:15am Meet at Harris Park Mt Panorama Car Park for Club Cars
- 7:00am 12hr Production Race Starts
- 11:00am Meet at Car Park for Lunchtime Tour to Orange, NSW
- 3:00pm Return to Mt Panorama for 12hr Race conclusion.
- 7:00pm Racing Concludes
Unfortunately, this year we have to pay entry costs per person. Each person will need to purchase their own 3 day pass at a cost of $50 through TryBooking.com. You can also buy 1 day tickets online at a cost of $25 through TryBooking.com. Alternatively you can purchase entry tickets at the gate for $35 per day. Here is the link for Ticketing Info.
This event requires a minimum of 10 cars to attend to qualify for the Car Clubs Special which includes:
- Exclusive Car Club Showcase parking at Harris Park, Mt Panorama, Bathurst.
- Complimentary Race Program for the weekend.
- The opportunity to participate in a parade lap on Sat 8th Feb 2014 at 1.00pm.
Suggested accommodation is available at the Kings on George Hotel Motel from $70 double per night. A variety of other accommodation options are available for your choice.
