Beautiful Bodalla
Event Full - New bookings will go on a waiting list
Departing from Milton, we’ll be taking the scenic route to Mossy Point. We will have coffee in a park on the waterfront at the Boat Ramp kiosk https://www.australias.guide/nsw/food-drink/the-boat-ramp-kiosk/ . BYO chair and morning tea. A drive to Bodalla will follow to explore the shops and lunch on the back deck of Bodalla Dairy Shed https://www.bodalladairy.com.au/shed-menu/
In the charming village of Bodalla, you can discover colonial heritage, taste delicious produce and explore the famous Bodalla Dairy Cheese Factory. Found in the beautiful Eurobodalla region on the NSW South Coast, Bodalla is known for its dairy farming and cheese production, which dates back to the 1860s.
A visit to Bodalla Dairy is fun for all ages. See the dairy production process in action, enjoy old-fashioned milkshakes at the Bodalla Dairy Shed and visit the animal farmyard, where kids can bottle feed calves at 10am and 4pm daily. You can also buy a range of cheeses and even spend the night.
Another Bodalla landmark is the Gothic-style All Saints Church designed by colonial architect Edmund Blacket, whose best-known works are the University of Sydney and St Andrew’s Cathedral.
We’ll have time for a wander through the shops of Bodalla, including Bodalla Dairy Shed, Hippy Sticks, Bodalla Lavender shop and Bodalla Bakery (for the bread to go with your cheeses).
