Bundanon to Bundanoon and other B Places
On leaving Tomerong we will head directly to Bundanon Art Museum and Bridge (https://www.bundanon.com.au/art-museum) for a tour of the exhibits (the Homestead and studio are some 20 minutes further away by unsealed road) There is a cafe onsite which provides a selection of sandwiches and cakes plus coffee if anyone wants morning tea. We will spend about 2 hours here before heading off on our exploration of “B” places, around the coast and highlands. Lunch will be arranged somewhere along the way in a town / village where the name starts with (guess what) a “B”. Expect to arrive at Bundanoon mid / late afternoon.
Accommodation for the night has been arranged at Bundanoon Country Motel (https://bundanoonmotel.com.au) at a cost of $165 per night. 10 Queen rooms have been reserved for us. Please book your rooms individually and mention MX5 Club South Coast chapter to ensure that you get one of the rooms allocated to us. Dinner will be arranged at the Bundanoon Club (aka RSL).
After an evening of convivial friendship and eating we will take to our rooms in order to rest up before taking off on the second day of our exciting “B” adventure, the route for this day has yet to be finalised, but you can be sure that it will end somewhere on the coast starting with a “B”.
Route details will only be provided each day before setting off. Expect to cover around 200km on day 1 and up to 250km on day 2.
