Day 2:   Wednesday - 21 February

  • NOTE: Both of the morning tea cafes on this route are temporarily closed. You will need to either bring your morning tea with you or purchase it at the SouthPoint shopping precinct which is on your doorstep.
  • Morning tea will be at the Cotter Dam. This is a beautiful spot and worth a short walk to the dam wall, or for the more energetic to the top of the wall.
  • Lunch: Four Winds Vineyard. You can enjoy a lunch of wood-fired pizzas or build your own platter from a selection of gourmet items from the deli fridge. Pizza dough is made fresh daily. You might like to try a local ‘Tasting Flight’ to complement your lunch.

  • Old Parliament House (Museum of Australian Democracy). We can either do a self guided tour or a tour with a guide. This decision will be made when we know who is coming on the run. https://moadoph.gov.au/
  • Dinner: Canberra Bar and Grill. This is about a 13 min walk. (950m)                                    https://www.canberrabargrill.com.au/menu/                                                             This venue has nibbles and larger meals so….. depending on how hungry we are after lunch at the winery we can eat here or opt for an alternative eating style.
