Club Driver Training Day

The Marulan Driver Training Centre (MDTC) is 90 minutes drive south from Sydney and is a closed circuit facility built specifically for driver training.
This is the third second of three two driver training events to be held at MDTC in 2018.
This driver training day will be an ideal opportunity for road or track drivers to sharpen their skills, or perhaps to learn some new skills in preparation for driving at a club track day. A classroom tuition session will be available for all drivers during the first round (non first timers may miss a track session if attending the classroom). First timers will have an experienced adviser available for in car tuition for the first half of the day, then as requested. Non first timers are welcome to ask an adviser to sit in with them after the 3rd round.

15-17th September is the Annual Motorsport Festival for the MX-5 Club of NSW featuring three days of events.
- Saturday 15 Sep - Driver Training Day at Marulan
- Sunday 16 Sep - Supersprint Championship Round 6 at Wakefield Park
- Monday 17 Sep - Club Track Day at Wakefield Park
** Register to volunteer as a flag marshal for the Sunday NSW Super Sprint and receive half price entry into the Monday track day!

** A FIRST TIMERS IS SOMEONE WITH NO PRIOR TRACK EXPERIENCE (ANY TRACK) **
***We are also looking for some enthusiastic club members to assist with organising our club MDTC events. Some of our current organising team have been organising this event for several years now and are looking to take a well deserved step back. This event is relatively easy to organise but does require a small time commitment from you to help out the team in different roles.

Calling all track day regulars!
We are looking for regular track day drivers to be advisers to our first time entrants at MDTC. If you feel you have advice and tips to pass on to a track day newbie, we'd love to hear from you. The advisers are the backbone of our MDTC days and there are many perks for our advisers including free lunch (you still get to drive in your own round).
Numbers are limited and subject to approval.
