Country Road Meander
Morning tea at ‘Ratha’s Place’. This is a great little café in Oak Flats that operates to provide training and employment opportunities for people with intellectual and development disabilities. It is well run and supervised and the food and service won’t disappoint. There are toilet facilities on site also there is plenty of street parking available out the front.
Then join us for a drive down to ‘The Heads Hotel’, Shoalhaven Heads on some roads often-travelled and others not so often-travelled.
You won’t be disappointed with the route with some quicker sections and some winding sections. The Run Grade is ‘Cruiser’ and is about sixty-five kilometres, taking approximately one and a half hours to complete. We will run through some pretty country side. There are no dirt roads along the route.
Our destination at ‘The Heads Hotel’ overlooks the Shoalhaven River and is a venue that will be new to many of you. The view over the river is great the staff were very helpful when we visited and their menu should cater for most people’s tastes. Parking is plentiful and toilet facilities are available.
