For those in the “not so far south” group, meet at Heritage Bakery in Milton at 9:15 am for coffee, departing between 9:45am - 10am for the trip to Batemans Bay.

The Clyde River well deserves its title as the sixth most scenic waterway in Australia.

The Merinda departs at 11.30am, with boarding starting at 11am for the 3-hour Innes Family Cruise. On board you will enjoy a traditional Aussie meal of crunchy battered fish, chips and salad prepared by the Iconic Innes's Boat Shed. Tea, coffee and biscuits are also included in the cruise fare. Alternatively, you can take advantage of the licensed bar. There are toilet facilities on board.

During the 1/2 hour stopover at Nelligen you have time to explore the famous prison tree. It was here that the infamous Clark brothers remained shackled, awaiting the Steam Packet to take them to Sydney where they were hung on twin gallows.

We need 10 people to obtain a discounted price.

Parking on the main street is only for 2 hours, so not suitable for the cruise. Other car parks close by with longer stay parking are:

  1. Clyde Street Carpark
    • Distance to Batemans Bay Marina: ~3–5 min walk (along the foreshore toward Bridge Plaza).
    • Notes: Free public parking close to the waterfront, shops and eateries — a very handy option for longer stops.
  2. Perry Street Carpark
    • Distance to Batemans Bay Marina: ~6–10 min walk via North Street/Princes Highway to Beach Road.
    • Notes: Spacious free carpark with good access to the marina area and nearby cafés/shops.

3. Batemans Bay Lodge Carpark
• Distance to Batemans Bay Marina: ~8–12 min walk.
