SATURDAY: Meet at 8am for 8.30 start at Maccas, McGraths Hill. Come along with your RPM friends as we take a 2.5 hr meander up the Bell Line of Road on our way to Rydal. We will stop at the Mt.Tomah Botanical Gardens for morning tea at the Ugly Mug Cafe.

Then onto Rydal to view the gardens. There is a fee of $15pp, and get your own lunch 

Accommodation is at the Comfort Inn Aden, Mudgee. I have reserved 13 rooms and they will be released to the public on August 1st, so you will need to book before then. Rooms are held in the name of CASSIDY MX5 and cost is as follows:

  • $155 twin share for bed only in renovated queen room
  • $165 twin share bed only for renovated King room
  • $130 for standard queen room (there is only one of these)

Breakfast is $10pp

Please call Motel on 02 6372 1122 and give CC details for your room. Mudgee is very busy at this time of year.

Optional wine tasting to Bunnamagoo Winery about 11km drive from our motel. Bring your own nibbles.

Meals at the motel are about $35pp for two course meal.

SUNDAY:   Meet 9am for 9.15 departure from Motel carpark. We will  travel 80 along Bylong to snack and comfort stop and then another 90km to visit the Pukara Estate, Denman, the olive oil experts.  Tasting at 12.15pm. It is another 20km to Hunter Belle Cheese Cafe, where we will have lunch.  After Lunch, you can enjoy some free time to explore.

For those who would like to continue the adventure for a second night away, Accommodation in Muswellbrook is at the Baybrook Motor Inn and we have held 7 Queen Room at a special rate of $110 twin share and again these rooms are held in the name of CASSIDY MX5 until the 1st August.  Cost $110 twin share. MONDAY: Meet 8.15am for 8.30am start. The fun goes on with a visit to the Australian Stock Horse Society Museum at Scone at 9am.   At 10.30am we will depart the Museum and head to historic Bulga for comfort stop and cuppa at the Bulga Tavern.  Those who are heading home may wish to get lunch at the Tavern, or the stayers might head to Laguna for Lunch at the GNTP (Great North Trading Post)
