Dubbo Zoofari
Join us for another epic road trip. With visits to the Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo and tour of the Royal Flying Doctor Visitor Experience Centre, this promises to be a beauty!
Our Run Leader has provided some information on the run and likely costs involved:
- Friday 14 May 2021 – we will leave Hall, arriving in Dubbo around 4:00 pm after morning tea at Boorowa and lunch at Canowindra
- We will check in to the Cattleman’s Country Motor Inn Dubbo for two nights. We have five Superior Queen rooms booked @$135 pn and five Superior King rooms booked at $145 pn
- Saturday 15 May 2021 - we spend a leisurely day at the Taronga Western Plains Zoo before dining at the highly rated resident motel restaurant. Group booking costs will be about $40 each payable at the gate
- Sunday 16 May 2021 – we will visit the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Visitor Experience. Group booking is $13 each also payable at the gate. We’ll have lunch at the RFDS café before making own way back to Canberra. Some may choose to stay another night (make your own arrangements with the motel directly).
Accommodation restrictions means this run is limited to ten cars. If you would like to go you will need to be quick!
