Easter Hills of Gold
Looking for something to do over Easter?
Stephen Carter is hosting a leisurely four day / three night run to his hometown of Tamworth. Friday will consist of a run up Thunderbolts Way and down Port Stephens Cutting, stopping at Gloucester for lunch along the way.
Saturday we head into the Hills of Gold for the annual festival in Nundle. This event features Chinese Acrobats and Dragons plus the many local attractions including Mount Misery Mine, Nundle Woollen Mill, Volcania Art Glass & Nundle Craft.
On Sunday Aaron Lewis will lead us for a run, taking in local roads and sights. Monday is the return journey with some route options.
Accommodation is reserved at the Mercure Tamworth. A standard double room for the three nights is $497, or a discounted price of $403 if you pay when booking (Room only – breakfast not included). Other room options are available, enquire at the time of booking. If you are an Accor member you can quote your membership number to receive benefits.
Meal arrangements will be finalised once the size of the group is known.
