Illawarra Karting Challenge
The Illawarra Chapter karting challenge will be held at Kembla Grange. Come and display your driving skills and help us find our fastest karters. The three fastest ladies and gents will represent Illawarra against the other club chapters at the Jinba Ittai Challenge in September.
Registration from 5pm, or register online at foxkarting.com.au. Start at 6pm sharp.
Cost: $28 per driver for two 10 minute races (9hp and 5.5hp karts available). Kids are welcome and will be given a separate run group restricted to the 5.5hp karts.
What to bring: Long sleeves and pants, enclosed shoes, race suits are available, helmets supplied.
Getting there: Access is off the Princes Highway at Kembla Grange, opposite the racecourse. Turn onto West Dapto Road, and the signed entrance is 90 metres ahead on the left (before the rail crossing). You will drive through a small industrial estate and continue straight for about 500m - the kart track is on your right. The carpark is beyond the kart track on the right.
