Illawarra Karting Challenge
We know how much you love to drive on twisty roads with tight corners, would you like to put those driving skills to the test? This is our first practice session for the Jinba Ittai Challenge where we will start to select our fastest drivers to represent the Illawarra Chapter in the finals on 30 October. Come along and join the fun!
Registration from 5pm, or register online at foxkarting.com.au. Start at 6pm sharp. They now have floodlights so we can run until late.
Cost: $32 per driver for two 10 minute races (9hp). Kids are welcome and will be given a separate run group restricted to the 5.5hp karts.
What to bring: Long sleeves and pants, enclosed shoes, race suits are available, helmets supplied.
Getting there: Access is off the Princes Highway at Kembla Grange, opposite the racecourse. Turn onto West Dapto Road, and the signed entrance is 90 metres ahead on the left (before the rail crossing). You will drive through a small industrial estate and continue straight for about 500m - the kart track is on your right. The carpark is beyond the kart track on the right.
