Jindy Andy Mill
After morning tea at ‘The Big Red Bus’ we will drive through beautiful pastureland to Jindyandy Mill in Pyree. The Mill was built by Alexander Berry in 1830 and is one of Australia’s oldest convict built brick buildings. Today it houses a wide variety of goods made by local artisans…. you might like to acquire one or two of these or alternatively, just enjoy looking at the architecture. In the gardens of Jindyandy Mill you can also explore the other shops: Junk & Disorderly Antiques (Geoff’s made a few tool purchases here), Past & Present Vintage and I’m in Heaven Lollies, Toys & Giftware (Rose has sampled a few delicacies).
After browsing and/or making a few purchases we will have lunch at ‘Vons Vintage Cafe’ which offers country style dining with stunning views across evergreen pastures. They have recently added an additional Gluten Free and Vegan menu to their dining experience.
