John’s Mystery Tour
This is a long run, the run itself covers 314kms and will take a drive time of 4hrs 18min, having said this there are plenty of short stops along the way. The aim is to get to our destination in time for lunch before making our own way home.
How the mystery tour works:
There are 6 stages to get the convoy to its lunchtime destination
Each stage has a different run leader, their name to be drawn from a hat, they can only lead 1 stage.
A run sheet for each stage will be made available to that stage’s run leader only.
Competition:
At the start of each stage each attendee will be given a sheet with the Google time and km’s to the next destination. They have to guess what that destination is. The sheets will be collected at the start of each stage.
Points will be awarded for the exact destination or for closest guess along with a runner up. (except if two guess are the same).
During lunch the points will be tallied and a prize awarded for the person with the highest score.
