Kangaroo Valley Twilight Run
This run was originally scheduled for 4 January but was cancelled due to the bushfire threat. While some homes were lost in Kangaroo Valley, thankfully, the central part of town and the pub escaped damage. They are very keen to see us return. The run is now rescheduled for Saturday 1 February.
Kick off the new year with a late afternoon drive through the beautiful southern highlands to Kangaroo Valley for dinner at the pub. This is a repeat of the run we did at the same time last year. Hopefully this time we'll get to see more than heavy fog and thunderstorms! You can read all about that adventure here.
Our run will start at Haywards Bay and climb Macquarie Pass. We'll take the delightful Tourist Road to Glenquarry before heading back to Robertson via Kangaloon. Finally we'll pass through Myra Vale and descend to Kangaroo Valley via Barrengarry Pass. A room has been booked at the Pub for dinner - please "Book Now" so that we can confirm numbers. As a special bonus, we have been invited to visit Fran's labyrinth at Barrengarry on the way to Kangaroo Valley. This will be a short 30min stop before we zip into town for dinner at the pub (booked for 6:30pm).
