North to Mangrove Creek
Mangrove Creek dam we have been to before, all the previous times we have arroved via Yarramalong this time it will be via Wollombi. A morning tea stop at Slacks Park Wollombi before heading south on the Great North road toward Kulnura and the dam. A further 45 minutes will get us to the dam aroung 12:00 for a relaxing picnic lunch (Goannas permitting). Plenty of time in the afternoon to pick your own route home, maybe back to the highway via Yarramalong and Bumble Hill Road.
