The MX-5 Clubs of NSW and Queensland join to spend the long weekend cruising some of the great roads of the New England and Eastern Ranges. There are lots of natural attractions in the region and autumn is a great time for some top-down touring, so you are assured of a great time.
The run will officially kick off from McDonald's Raymond Terrace at 10:30am on Good Friday.
Our accommodation in Armidale is at the Country Comfort Motel. The owners are eager to look after us with accommodation, breakfast (Saturday, Sunday and Monday) and Dinner (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). There is a choice of different rooms.
Friday, we travel from the Hunter to our weekend venue of Country Comfort Motel Armidale where we meet up with our Queensland friends for drinks and dinner.
Saturday & Sunday we drive some of the roads of the New England and Eastern Ranges taking in the wonderful autumn scenery. We will travel some of our favorites plus enjoy some new pathways. Our drives will take us to Guyra, Waterfall Way, Bellingen, Walcha, Armidale, etc.
Each night we dine at the motel.
On Monday we return to the Hunter Region via the New England Highway. Alternatively, you are welcome to make your own arrangements
