What do you remember of your travels in younger days, going South from Sydney to perhaps Mittagong or Bowral, or even Goulburn. You might remember the trip alongside the railway line between Narellan and Camden, sometimes racing a train. Perhaps you did a school excursion to the Rotolactor at Menangle. Do you remember the trip over Razorback. Even in later years, ski trips to the snow did not have the luxury of today’s freeway.
Travel back in time as we take a nostalgic trip down the old Hume highway from Camden to Yass, stopping overnight in Goulburn along the way. Our return journey will be a pleasant drive through Yass, Bungendore and then home.
Meeting places are near Nowra, Gerringong, Appin Road and Camden suitable for Illawarra, Sydney, RPM and even Canberra chapters.
