Pizza Evening @ Strathnairn Arts Gallery
Please join fellow Chapter Members for a few drinks, mezze, cheese and pizzas watching the sun go down on the lawns of Strathnairn Art Gallery on Friday, 4 February 2022 from 6:00pm.
Last year, 30 members had a thoroughly enjoyable evening here, enthusiastically devouring the tucker - cheese platters, mezze plates and fresh pizzas, all cooked in an outdoor wood fired pizza oven - while watching the sun set over the Brindabellas.
Stepping Stone Café will cater for us exclusively on the night. The cost will be around $45 a head (payable in cash to Bricet on the night).
Food will be presented on sharing platters on the table and will include a chessboard to start, an assortment of small plates, and an assortment of pizzas. The evening will be BYO, but unlimited still and sparkling water will be freely available. Desserts, tea and coffee can be purchased separately.
Please let Bricet or Bob know on bricetandbob@bigpond.com by Saturday 4 February if you’d like to join us for a lovely get-together at a gorgeous venue. If the weather is inclement, the evening will go ahead in the café inside the gallery.
Strathnairn is at 90 Stockhill Drive, Holt.
There is plenty of free parking.

The Cafe, Stepping Stone, is a work integration social enterprise. They originally opened Cafe Stepping Stone in Cartagena, Colombia in 2017 with the aim to provide youth living in poverty with an opportunity to have their first formal employment and receive training and support to create the futures they dreamed of. Stepping Stone Canberra creates inclusive employment opportunities and practical training for migrant and refugee women from CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) backgrounds through a sustainable and innovative vegetarian cafe (at Strathnairn Arts).
