We will be joining the Illawarra Chapter in Goulburn to head off on our adventure to find the frisky sheep that like to run down the main street of the Irish settlement of Boorowa.
Hella and Mark Underwood from the Illawarra Chapter have some great back roads for us to enjoy before we arrive at Murrumburrah-Harden for lunch at the Terracotta Café. There will be time to look around the town, view the wonderful murals and see the life size statue of the famous WW1 Warhorse, Bill the Bastard. Our last stop will be the Lambing Flat Chinese Tribute Garden just 5 minutes from Young.
Apart from the Running of the Sheep, the Boorowa Woolfest have a number of other events organized including a street parade featuring Irish bands and dancers to help create the Irish spirit. This will be a full day to enjoy as you wish.
