Come and join Ray & Marlene for a jaunt out to Mudgee for the ' Flavors of Mudgee ' Wine & Food Festival
.
As this is a 9:30 meet , you can grap a Coffee at McCafe or BYO before we head off.
This is a 3 Day Run: the Third Day is optional Run Home Day with Lunch at Hillbilly Cider Bilpin, or you could Stay on and explore Mudgee Wineries and surrounding areas at your Leisure.
Day 1
1st Comfort stop - Jerry's Plains Camping Ground - Wambo St.
2nd Rest stop - Merriwa Cakes & Pastries - Lunch
3rd Rest stop - Cassilis Park Rest Area
From Huntlee we'll travel thru Broke Rd up the Golden Hwy to Jerry's Plains for a Comfort stop then continue on to Merriwa for an easy lunch at Merriwa Cakes & Pastries. Then continue along the Golden Hwy & Castlereagh Hwy thru Gulgong to Mudgee ( Soldiers Motel )
After checking in , we'll have Nibbles & Drinks by the Pool its a bit tight but we should all squeeze in ,
at approx. 5.50pm we'll all head over to the Paragon hotel for Dinner
Day 2
Breakfast will be your own choice there are numerous cafes that are a short walk from our Accommodation
After Breakfast you'll have some free time before we head off for Lunch to Burnbrae Wines for Pizza including GF, Antipasto Plates ( See Menu for Pricing ) & Wine Tasting . The Wine Tasting is $5 per person and will be done in groups of 10-12 people at a time.
With your free time in the morning you could visit some Wineries of your choice, there are also a selection of Beer Breweries & Liquor Distilleries in the Mudgee area or maybe ,visit he Gulgong Museum only 22mins out of Mudgee

The Flavors of Mudgee Festival runs from 4pm – 8pm along Mudgee’s iconic main streets.
A Tasting Package includes x 5 tasting (30mL) tokens and a Souvenir Flavours of Mudgee Tasting Tumbler - $25ea, to be purchased on the day at the Event or you can pre purchase thru TIX ( TIX per purchases doesn't seem to be up on the website yet, when it's available I'll post the link.
We'll try and grap a large table that we can use as gather point while at the Festival ( To Eat, Drink & Rest ), Delight in the exquisite offerings of local Wine and Food producers while enjoying live performances
and if you wish to kick on afterwards, please join us for a Nite cap at the Paragon Hotel.
Day 3
Again Breakfast will be your own choice from the numerous Cafes a short walk from our Accomodation
Departure will be at 9:00am (meet in the car park at 8:50am) we will have a short stop at the Honey Haven Mudgee for a browse, shop & Mead Wine Tasting for the non-Drivers, then onto Lue Rd thru to Rylstone and through Capertee valley for lunch at Hillbilly Cider Bilpin where the Run ends.

2nd Rest stop - Capertee BP for Morning Tea / coffee
3rd Rest Stop - if required as per run sheet
