Way out West
1st meet at Glenbrook Cinema carpark at 8.30 for a 9/00am departure to Hartley where the 2nd pick up point will be then on to Millthorpe via Blayney for a coffee at the Old Mill Cafe and a short stroll around town, it is National Trust town with lots of cute shops, old buildings and splendid gardens.
Travelling onto Cowra via some scenic back roads for your overnight accommodation - we will visit the Japanese Gardens, POW Cam, war cemetery and the rail museum if time permits.
Overnight in Cowra before heading off home we finish off our visit to Cowra, then a short drive to the "Balloon capital of Australia" Canowindra to stroll through the town, a genuine time warp of curiosity. Taking an historic walk down Gaskill Street visiting The Age of Fishes Musuem and Learning Centre then lunch at Canowindra Hotel.
Short run to Wyangla dam if time permits then back to Cowra for our overnight accommodation.
