The club's annual charity event to support Careflight, brings us just one kilometre south of the historic Wollombi village, to The Mulla Villa Guesthouse where you will be treated to some rustic hunter hospitality in their renovated "Cow Shed".

The Illawarra Chapter will support the Charity Lunch in force with a weekend trip to Newcastle, enjoying some twisty roads along the way and then tagging along with the Hunter Chapter for the run to Wollombi on Sunday.

Accommodation

A block of 15 rooms has been reserved at Adamstown Elizabeth Motor Inn, 165 Brunker Rd, Adamstown (a favourite spot from previous visits). The rate for a double/twin room is $150 per night. Make your own booking by phoning Lis on 02 4952 7111 and mention the "MX-5 Club" block reservation. You will need to leave your name, contact number, email address, room requirements and credit card number to secure the booking - payment is to be made upon arrival. The rooms will be held until 13 May so please be quick about it. Additional rooms are currently available if required.

Saturday Lunch

The run will be take us via the Northern Road to Windsor (Sydney members can join there), and then Putty Road to the Hunter Valley (click here for a map). Lunch will be at Potters Hotel Brewery near Cessnock. Check the website for a menu. They have the Hunter's ONLY operational Brewery on site. (Thanks to Kim Williams for arranging)

Saturday Dinner

A dinner booking has been made at The Nag's Head Hotel, which is a comfortable 500m / 5min walk down the road from the motel. We've eaten there several times before and the meals have always been excellent. Please join us for a fun night out! And stagger back to our rooms.

Sunday Lunch

This is the most important bit! You MUST register for the Charity Lunch and pay in advance. Please follow this link and follow the instructions to ensure that your spot is locked in. The lunch is limited to 100 people and all chapters are invited, so do not delay. Book now!
