2020 Events for South Coast Chapter

Following suggestions from members at our monthly coffee meetings and our Christmas event, we have put together next year’s proposed program for the South Coast chapter. Please see attachment.

At the Convenor’s Conference last weekend, we were being encouraged to collaborate or “cross-fertilise” with other chapters next year. The South Coast chapter’s Xmas event was a prime example with members from four chapters in attendance.

We have included suggested events together with other chapters on our calendar.

You will notice that the Great Alpine run, initially planned for February has been moved to early April, before school holidays, Easter and NatMeet. We became aware that the Canberra Chapter are planning a
run during the same period, 14-17th February to the South Coast and Tathra. We have decided it wise to delay our run due to this clash, the summer heat and possibility of fires in Victoria’s High country. Canberra Convenors welcome our participation in this and any other runs. They, as do other chapters, work on a first in best dressed basis. As a courtesy, it is advisable to contact the organiser to say that you would like to join the run.
