Brigid takes us to Berrima
21 May 2025 / Brigid Gallop
Berrima RPM on 20th May.
It was a small group of ten that set out from Settlers, Mulgoa on a chilly morning. With a second pick-up at Picton, most of the route was well known to members but we did try a few little variations to keep interest up. The weather held and the drive went smoothly. Everyone seemed quite happy with the meals at the Surveyor's Hotel, and the historic pub had a very pleasant feel. We were glad to get in out of the cold.
It was great to see our good friend Annette (and husband Bruce) sharing the day and Annette looking so well. Hopefully, we will have her bright company for a very long time.
I must also mention a blast from the past in the form of Ben who has travelled from Bathurst to join us for the day. Ben was a member some years back and we hope to pull him back into the fold.
Berrima is a quaint little town and caters to tourist with some craft and pantry stores and some of our group decided to have a little explore before heading home.
