Christmas in July Fingal Bay Style

Although the weather was a little unpredictable, with torrential rain along the M1 giving way to beautiful sunshine at Fingal Bay, 23 members in 13 MX-5s braved the conditions to enjoy our annual Christmas in July run.

The day began at Raymond Terrace before our convoy headed north to Fingal Bay, where members gathered for lunch at the newly refurbished Saltwater Restaurant at Fingal Bay Surf Club.

The Christmas lunch was a great success, with our group enjoying access to the surfside deck. The stunning coastal outlook provided plenty to admire, from whales breaching in the distance to boats making their way across the bay. To top it all off, a vibrant rainbow appeared, creating the perfect backdrop for some memorable photos.

Three beautifully decorated Christmas tables, arranged close together, encouraged plenty of conversation and laughter throughout the afternoon. Despite the mixed weather, it was another enjoyable social event, with good food, great company, and plenty of Christmas spirit shared among our Hunter Chapter members.
