Famous WHEELS 2026

The Council of ACT Motor Club’s annual autumn Wheels Car & Bike Show was the 45th Wheels event. This is the largest annual regional display of heritage motoring by local & regional motoring enthusiasts. Wheels brings together veteran, vintage, historic, classic, and modified cars and bikes as well as modern and electric vehicles from across the region.

Our MX5 Club of NSW - Canberra Chapter displayed our cars at Wheels 2026, sponsored by Famous Insurance. For 2026 WHEELS moved from the Queanbeyan Showground to Canberra Thoroughbred Park.

Eight of our members attended, including Rob who drove down from Sydney, Lili who took many excellent pictures, and a new member, Phil.

As usual we gathered under the club marquee for a session of catch-up and chat. Wheels is unique as it is supported by many of the car clubs in the ACT and region and members use it as an opportunity to display many fine cars that are not always seen by the public. All funds raised are donated to charity.
