Fun at 828

828 Tractor visited.
A favourite of Sydney chapter 828 Tractor is an obvious location for our RPM “Lunch and Laughs”, why have we never done it? Gary Joss was of similar thoughts and organised some beautiful weather for thirteen people to head out and enjoy the drive to Ebenezer and a great venue. As I pulled in I was greeted by the gorgeous sight of a special edition red 93 NA in as new condition with beige upholstery and matching roof. Beautiful.
On a long table under the umbrellas, we met up with Robert Chalmers and Tom Cripps from Sydney to talk about cars, driving and life in general. Someone mentioned food (no, not me) and we all checked out the huge menu and queued to meet the fun staff to order our food and drinks. It all arrived quickly, and everyone enjoyed their food even though most could not finish their plate.
It turned out that Tom owned that NA driven less than 60K. Lucky guy. Ron Quester showed off one of his brilliantly hand formed animals made for the new great grand parents Deb and Rob Dempsey.
New friends and old chatted into the afternoon, topped up with more tasty cake and coffee until we realised it was closing time. Unfortunately, people had to go but several chose to drive the long way home including us who missed a turn and just kept going.
Can’t wait for the next one. Thanks Gary.
