Just Because You Can

This was one of those runs you do just because you can. Each of the Club Chapters have runs up on their web sites.

The great thing is that if the Chapter you most often join on events, for us that is the Illawarra Chapter, is not doing anything on days you are free you can look on the ‘All Events’ list on the Club web site and see what other Chapters are up to.This is what we did. RPM were doing a midweek run to the Southern Highlands for lunch.

The weather was forecast to be great, perfect roof down driving weather, so we arranged to meet RPM at their chosen lunch venue. For us it was a run up Macquarie Pass and along the Tourist Road to join RPM in the Highlands. Great MX-5 roads.

Belonging to a club with so many members there is always someone that has a good idea for an event or outing that can be enjoyed by any member once it gets advertised on the Club web site.

Meeting with folks that joined in on this RPM Chapter event was really good fun. We enjoyed a great lunch and laughed and chatted for what seemed like ages. They certainly made us feel welcome in their group.
