It has been a quiet week since my last roundup for club motorsport.

We still need a couple more flaggies for the 26th March track day at Pheasant Wood, so consider helping if you are available please.

There is a significant announcement below about licensing and car requirements for future track days at Pheasant Wood Circuit.

Club Track Day - Round 2 - Entries have closed

Entries have closed for our 2nd track day of 2023 at the Pheasant Wood circuit near Marulan, on Sunday 26th March.

We are still short a couple of flaggies for this event, so if you can help, please contact me at competition@mx5.com.au

Even if you have no prior experience, we can still use your help, and will make sure to put you on a flag point with an experienced person.

 

MX-5 Multi-Club Track Day at The Bend

Entries are still open for this track day at The Bend on Sunday 23rd April, with 19 members of the NSW MX-5 club currently entered.

Entry is open to all members of Australian state MX-5 clubs.

NSWRRC 6 Hour Team Regularity – Entries Open

Each year a good number of teams of MX-5 Club drivers compete at the NSW Road Racing Club team regularity on the GP circuit at Sydney Motorsport Park. This year the event is on Saturday & Sunday 29th & 30th April, and entries are currently open. If you are interested in this event NOW is a good time to call around and put together a team.

NSW Supersprint - Round 2 - Sunday 2nd April

This event will be ru on the SMSP North/Druitt circuit by NSWRRC.

Completed Events

The Panorama Mountain Men team wins the Porsche 6 Hour Regularity Relay in Victoria ...... AGAIN

Last weekend the Panorama Mountain Men team, consisting of NSW club members Stewart Temesvary, David Johnson, Glenn Thomas and Sean Byers, won the Porsche 6 Hour Regularity Relay, repeating their victory from last year.

Congratulations to this regularity super team, adding to their already impressive list of wins.

Permit change at Pheasant Wood track days

Future club track days Pheasant Wood (after 26th March) are being switched to run under a Motorsport Australia permit rather than a AASA permit. The reasons for this change and the consequences for track day entrants are explained on the club website here Permit Change at Pheasant Wood trackdays.
