NatMeet 2028 in Victoria

The MX-5 Club of Victoria and Tasmania is pleased to announce that NatMeet 2028 will be hosted by the Mazda MX-5 Club of Victoria and Tasmania, in Wangaratta from Monday 20 March to Saturday 25 March 2028.

Where is Wangaratta?

Wangaratta is in North East Victoria. It's on the HUME HIGHWAY 250 kms from Melbourne or 76 kms from Albury.

Accommodation Options

This NatMeet will differ from previous years by offering a variety of accommodation options to suit every budget. Choices range from the 4- and 5-star motels, Quest Apartments and cabins at local caravan parks. We hope this flexibility will encourage greater participation, giving attendees more control over their expenses.

Event Base and Facilities

For the duration of the week, the Wangaratta Turf Club will serve as our central hub. We will kick off with food and drinks on the first night and conclude with a dinner on the final evening. All daily runs will begin and end at the Turf Club, which offers ample space for both participants and their vehicles. The venue also features an area dedicated to the show and shine event.

Daily Runs and Activities

We are planning a range of daily runs to showcase the beautiful local surroundings and of course some of the best roads for MX-5s in Victoria. These include drives to wineries or charming cafés for lunch, as well as longer, more challenging routes for those who enjoy a spirited drive. For participants seeking a more relaxed day, there will be self-drive options to nearby towns such as Beechworth, Bright, and Glenrowan.
