ND Windscreen Replacement

Two weeks ago, on a club trip, I collected a stone on my windscreen which resulted in a large crack.

No problems, I have windscreen insurance.

However, nothing could prepare me for the shock of the bill.

The windscreen for my late 2016 ND GT costs $1800 to replace. It is one of those with automatic wiper and light sensors.

Fair enough! However, the replacement operation causes the plugs on the back of the windscreen mouldings to break and this requires the purchase of three new mouldings at $800 each.

$4200 to replace the windscreen of an MX5 ND.

Make sure you have windscreen insurance!!!
