RPM Barefoot Bowling

Barefoot Bowling.

As our newly crowned Social Co-ordinator, Sandra has challenged us with something completely different.

Hardly mx-5-centric, barefoot bowling provides us all with the ability to get our toes out into the fresh air. Breaking into four groups of three (or something like that) we took the challenge to roll those balls (sorry bowls)

down that lovely green to the far end without losing them in the gutter. Somehow it ended up being the two boy’s teams being totally put to shame. Within the first couple of ends the girls were easily putting the bowls within inches of the Jack while we were still struggling to keep them out of the gutter.

With the sun going down and only marginal improvements to the scoreline we decided to try again another day, adjourn and retire to a great restaurant in Glenbrook and drown our sorrows in great food and wine.

Whilst Ballaminos is a shopfront in Glenbrook shopping centre it is some of the best great value Italian around and comes highly recommended.

Toasting Sandra for a great day, everyone drove off into the cool evening for a quiet run home, several of us with more than an hour to enjoy.

We look forward to many more events in the coming year.
